Noida: The Noida Authority has launched a crackdown on illegal constructions on notified land across the city. As part of the drive, nearly 20 structures in areas like Gadhi Chaukhandi, Barolla, Salarpur, Basai, and Bhangel were found built without requisite approvals. These buildings have been marked in red paint with the word “illegal,” and official notices have been pasted to warn current occupants and prospective buyers. So far, nearly 10,000 sqm of land, worth an estimated Rs 30 crore, have been freed from encroachment.
